Yemen Expands Domestic Textile Production Through New Manufacturing Partnership

On 5 November, Yemen’s General Corporation for Spinning and Textile Industries agreed to supply yarn and production inputs to local garment-making families. The initiative aims to strengthen domestic manufacturing, increase demand for locally produced textiles and reduce dependence on imported clothing. Officials also discussed equipment support and future factory development, but no machinery contract price or investment figure was disclosed.
